Cathy and Bilal are fantastic, in every part of the house you feel positive vibes.

Cathy is always, always present, she helps you, just only for empathy or she can make a very good evening late dinner. About treatment, it was easy, i have no words, i used 3 grams of heroin per day yes 3 grams. I also used a lot of psych-pharma.

Cathy advised me very well to stop take the psych-pharma stopping weeks before. I was too scared thinking about my withdrawal, but NOTHING HAPPEN, NOTHING. ZERO.

I was drinking heavily, 3 bottles of wine a day and I arrived drunk as I could not stop drinking. Bilal handled it very well, he started the detox straight away gradually without the use of any pharmaceuticals. Within 2 days by talking it through and physical preparation, the alcohol began to leave my body. The Detox Treatment, by Harambe Detox was the best that I had ever had. I have had different iboga treatments in Holland, the Czech Republic and Athens and I must say that this one is the most professional I have ever had. Bilal was very professional and he had procedures that he kept to. The procedures are simple yet complex.

Normally in these centres, you get a dose immediately and go within 3 days but at Harambe the very important step is the mental and physical preparation. Bilal is a very important guide in both worlds and is professional in every way. With this there is the possibility of a good Iboga experience. When I was under the iboga it was organised and not chaotic. the questions that I had asked were answered in a structured way and I know that was because of the preparation. I highly recommend to anyone to come here.

Just thought I’d email to say thanks for the treatment, for fitting me in at such short notice and for putting up with the pathetic moaning and groaning of the 37-year-old man-baby!

Life, coping and generally everything definitely feels different this time, the proper dose or flood had the desired effect I think but also having such important motivational forces such as bastard social services on my case was/is the scare and kick up the arse I needed. It does put a completely different perspective on it all and make the whole situation very serious this time around. Also, the day in hospital with my asthma episode was what I needed, it helped in many ways.

Maybe for the recreational drug users (junkies) you should factor a day trip to Valencia General into the treatment somewhere towards the end of the 5 days, just to scare the shit out of those junkies who are falling apart at the seams. Bloody well worked for me. It was the scare that I needed, the essential wake up call. I’m still smoking rollies as it keeps me feeling relatively sane but that needs to stop soon as well.

Bilal…. perhaps you’re right, maybe I did need a proper slap when I was younger, I did kind of did get a few slaps from my dad but prob not nearly hard enough!

If you’re interested (?), since being home I’ve have had more Dr’s app’s, rehab / counselling sessions than I can count and even attended my first NA meeting yesterday (yes!) and it was actually OK. Lots of hugging and reciting from some kind of NA handbook but all in all a pretty positive experience and nobody asking me where I was going to score at the end of the session.

If I’m honest, I’ve used B once since being back, I had (found) a good/crap reason which I won’t bother boring you with the details, it tasted shit, did nothing for me aside from making me realise I don’t want or need it anymore, seriously, it was just shit. I’m actually pleased I did it and the cravings are fading day by day.

I actually thought the first time I came here that you guys just took money and sat around doing nothing, having been back I can see that it is certainly not the case and that you do work hard, you are there to shout us back into bed when you know we need to lie down!!!!

Estoy contenta de haberme decidido a hacer el tratamiento con el Iboga. No tengo palabras para describir la fuerza y el poder de esta planta. Creo que puede ser una experiencia sin precedentes para cualquiera, al margen de los motivos por los que se siga el tratamiento. En mi caso simplemente quería experimentar con la intención de que se removiera cualquier obstáculo que me impidiera experimentar la realidad de lo que soy.

El Iboga me ofreció la oportunidad de vivir dos extremos, una gran claridad y lucidez en las primeras horas y un estado de total invalidez corporal en las horas que siguieron al tratamiento. Me invitó a hacerme consciente de diferentes dimensiones de mi ser, desde la personalidad más superficial a la profundidad de la paz total. También pude percibir una gran intensidad energética, la fuerza, la vibración de una totalidad que nunca habría imaginado existiera.

Otro aspecto de la experiencia fue el sentir como una encarnación consciente y lenta. Y así empecé a escuchar mi voz y el lenguaje de nuevo y a sentir el cuerpo de nuevo, a sentirlo moverse y renacer desde atrás, desde lo imperturbable de mi ser. Y de nuevo la experiencia de poder y fuerza de la consciencia junto con la de debilidad del cuerpo.

En el día a día lo que estoy experimentando es que las mismas cosas que solían irritarme y que siguen estando ahí han perdido el poder de molestarme. Es como si se hubieran pasado a mi bando, porque sólo hubiera un bando…. mi bando. Así que ahora sigo explorando esta nueva perspectiva de mí.

Me gustaría agradecer de todo corazón a Bilal y a Cathy su hospitalidad y su apoyo, su saber estar ahí mientras el cuerpo está tan vulnerable que necesita ayuda para moverse. También darles las gracias por darme la oportunidad de quedarme en el yurt durante los días de tratamiento, pues me envolvió como un útero.

Cathy and Bilal are the most compassionate, down to earth people. It made my iboga experience and my whole stay feel like a home from home. I felt very safe and in good hands, I could tell they were experienced. They work very well as a team and they both have amazingly upbeat personalities; they reassured me and explained all the process of taking iboga to me.

I have had 25 years OCD (trichotillomania), which is why I came to Harambe. I could not carry on with it as I was sick of the shame that came with the disorder. My trip had many visions but the part that focused on my disorder showed me in a very repetitive way what I have been doing to myself and how it damages me. It really put me off doing it and has got rid of my desire to do it. “why have i been doing this to myself all the time?” It was so repetitive that it drove me crazy, but it worked and I needed it.

Bilal was very knowledgeable in how much iboga to give me, and gave me a very good dose as both of my trips were vivid and full of visions. Cathy and Bilal checked on me lots and I had a great experience. Will try to come back next year, thanks so much, see you soon!

Min erfaring med iboga behandling:

Grunnen til at bestemte meg for å dra til Spania for å utføre behandlingen var fordi jeg hadde et avhengighetsproblem med heroin. Jeg hadde prøvd ut det som gikk an å prøve for å bli rusfri her hjemme i Norge, uten at dette var vellykket verken i det korte eller lange løp. Etter mange år som rusavhengig hadde jeg nå endelig fått livet på stell utenfor kriminalitet og med samboer og en baby på vei. Men dessverre ble suget for stort og jeg fikk igjen et tilbakefall som jeg ikke klarte å komme meg ut av verken på egenhånd eller med hjelp av de ressursene som fantes i Norge. Jeg kom over litt informasjon om denne type behandling, og begynte å google da jeg kom over dette stedet i Spania. Jeg sendte mail, og fikk raske svar tilbake fra Cathrine. Jeg fikk også raskt plass, og dro dit i julen 2016.

Da jeg først kom ned dit møtte Cathrine og Bilal meg på togstasjonen. Jeg trodde jeg skulle starte behandlingen med en gang, men måtte vente til dagen etter på grunn av for høy dose opiat som fortsatt satt i kroppen. Dagen etter klokken 11.00 startet jeg behandlingen med to kapsler som var testdosen. Dette merket jeg ingenting av. Etter 1 times tid fikk jeg fire kapsler til og behandlingen var igang. Det var en meget spesiell opplevelse da jeg fikk en psykedelisk opplevelse der jeg forsvant inn i en slags egen drømmeverden. Jeg så at taket åpnet seg og at jeg forsvant ut i luften og spratt mellom forskjellige planeter. Denne psykadeliske opplevelsen varte i ca. 12 timer. Dagen etter var den tyngste dagen der jeg kjente på alle indre følelser. Jeg ble liggende i sengen i ca. tre dager tilsammen. Det er en tung behandling som går hardt ut over kroppen, og jeg slet med søvn i en ukes tid etterpå. Men dette er det absolutt verdt, da jeg var så og si abstinensfri tre dager etterpå og suget etter opiater forsvant. Så nå er det bare opp til meg selv å være sterk.

Vil absolutt anbefale å dra til Cathrine og Bilal for denne type behandling. De vet godt hva de driver med og er veldig behjelpelige hele veien. Jeg hadde en nervøs samboer som satt hjemme og ventet spent, og da jeg ikke var i stand til å ha noe kontakt med noen under behandlingen så ble samboer oppdatert via mail av Cathrine hele veien. Hvis du velger å ta denne behandlingen så vil jeg helt klart anbefale å gjøre akkurat det Cathrine og Bilal gir beskjed om, da de har lang erfaring med dette og virkelig peiling. Jeg var egentlig klar for å dra til Amsterdam for å kjøpe dette over disk for å prøve dette ut selv hjemme, men jeg er veldig glad samboer insisterte på at jeg skulle gjøre det med folk som visste litt mer om dette. For til tross for det brede spekteret av rusmidler jeg har tatt tidligere, ante jeg ikke hva jeg gikk til. Det er en type «rus» jeg aldri har sett liknende til, og jeg kan nesten garantere at man ikke har opplevd liknende før. Når det er sagt så er dette en type rus man ikke ønsker å ta, men som man bruker som en type behandling for å oppnå noe.
